First Steps Full Day Care Nursery

First Steps is pleased to offer a good full daycare provision located in Llandrindod Wells. The purpose of the provision is to provide every child’s First Steps in developing in a secure happy environment, where the dedicated staff will provide personal home from home quality care which is essential for each child to develop their social, emotional, physical, intellectual and creative skills, through play and good child care practices.

Registered for 20 children per day - aged between birth to 8yrs.

Our group is registered with CSIW - Mid Wales, a member of Wales Pre-School Playgroups Association and National Day Nurseries Association. “Quality Assured” Accreditation with Wales P.P.A.

All children are offered:
A planned curriculum in accordance with Wales P.P.A. Guidelines for Good practice and the Curriculum Council for Wales Desirable Learning Outcomes/Welsh Foundation Stage.Individual care and attention, with a good ratio of adults to children. Fun and Friendship with other children and adults. Opportunities for you as a parent/Carer to become involved in the activities of the group and your child’s progress.

Parental Involvement:
We believe that Parents are the prime carers and educators of their children and as such should be involved in all aspects of the group. Parents/Carers are welcome to become involved in: Fundraising, attending training courses, workshops, conferences e.t.c. and attending trips/events organised by the nursery.
